can suart baudrate be greater than 57600?

i need faster baudrate..about 3Mbps..can it be done?

This will be too fast for software usart, even hardware usart would be difficult above 115,000.
Very high quality serial cards in a PC are unreliable even at 1MHz.
Why would you want such high data rate?

3mbps is over 333Kbytes per second your into the realms of network speeds.

If want the faster speeds look at the Pics own USART but the suart is not capable of much more than 57600.

thanks for the prompt replies..
i'm just doin a device that transfers data via usart...
and it seems that 57600 baudrate still not enough speed to transfer large size of data... it took my device about 8 min to transfer just 1 MB of data.. and the baudrate seems to affect the rate of transfer...

Then you need to look at HID or CDC via a USB connection

A standard HID can send data out at up to 64k bytes (note bytes no bits)

I have an app and can send 16meg in less than 7 mins
