GSM Multi Purpose board

Post by TimB » Thu Aug 09, 2007 11:23 am

Hi all

Were now at the finishing final stages of the development of a board that has the following features. I'm thinking of offering the board up for others

Features (most but not all)
GSM (Telit GM862) or
GSM + GPS (GM862-GPS)
Pic PIC18F6XJ1X
icsp connection
Mic + Speaker connections (GSM)
5v reg
3.8v reg
3.3v reg
Lipoly bat charger
Charge monitoring
5 x reed relays
3 x power relays
isolation of relays by mosfet
1 x PCF8563 inc back up bat
1 x i2c Epprom
14 x digital i/o with pullup pull down
All GSM i/o
2 x rs 232 (1 connected to GSM module also)
1 x rs485
6 x a/d inputs with individual r2r
1 x TX standard sil package 434 868 mhz etc to sma
1 x Rx standard sil package 434 868 mhz etc to sma
1 x 16f88 pic to manage rx coms

Interrupt connections to GSM + RTC alarms etc and the i/o connections

The board is approx 160 x 190 mm 2 sided 1.6mm

While I have not started writing code for it yet it will be supplied free as I work my way through the jobs.

Code will be in SF and Proton but might not be at the same time

RX code will only be supplied on chip but the TX will be free and the data coming in will automatically be sent to the main pic and you will just see a flag to say the data is now in an array ready to be parsed.

I'm offering it so I can help cover the cost of the board development etc, so it will be cheep.

The PCB on its own will be no more than £20 bare board, but will offer parts if required as I have to order them from my self any case.

Interested ?
