Types of numbers for variables

Post by Gabriel Febres » Fri Jul 04, 2008 7:40 am

I am very new to Swordfish, I mean just a few days. So I am still reading basic documentation. There is one item that pinches my mind every time I find it, the term ordinal numbers seems to be used to signify natural numbers. This is a very minor detail, but still could be changed in the documentation. I do not think you really mean ordinal numbers.
Ordinal numbers are: first, second, third...
Natural number are: 1,2,3...[/i]

Hello Gabriel,
I agree with you on the definition of the terms but I am used to seeing these terms being interchangeable even though it is not proper.
It does not bother me either way too much.

I hate when people call water Hydrogen-diOxide when it is in fact diHydrogen Oxide, but such things are unlikely to change.

Lets hope this is the sum of all you issues with this fine compiler!!!
