On-Line updating stopped working after update to 2.1.0.0

Post by fbraun » Wed Jun 18, 2008 12:45 am

Did a fresh install of the original SF CD on a new machine today. After the re-install, did an on-line update to Version 2.1.0.0. Retested the on-line update function but it seems to have disappeared- That is, it shows the message "Contacting Server" but does not show the final "Your Installation is Up to date etc." message box.

It's offline at the moment pending a new compiler release.

You will need to resolve this issue in order to update your compiler! Check that "dupMgr.dll" is present in your Swordfish installation folder. If it is, then the most likely cause is that you do not have the correct administration rights for the machine. You need to log on as administrator to update.

I have Admin rights and I have the dupMgr.dll (v4.0.0.2) present in the directory.

Still greyed out. Any other ideas?

What OS are you using? It's grayed out because the OS is reporting that you do not have the correct privileges...
