What Kind of Language is Swordfish

Post by swordfishuser » Thu May 11, 2017 6:41 pm

We found out Firewing is VB based and that is not going to work for us at all.

What is Swordfish based on?

PIC Basic is an extension of PBasic which is like Qbasic or even something before that.

How is Swordfish different than PBasic?

from one of the many "XXXXXusers" of late...
would 'corrupt' our learning Assembler and Embedded C
So which is it? PBASIC, Great Cow basic, assembly, or C, or PDS, or PBP, or Firewing, or Swordfish, or ....???
PIC10/PIC12/PIC16/PIC18 family?
Basic Stamps, Arduino boards, Firewing boards, Chipino development boards, chips on a breadboard?

I think I've finally caught on. Shame on me for being so thick headed as to believe that you actually wanted help with something.

Stick with PBP. Please. (if that's even real... likely not).

You're kind of touchy and jumpy.

Just asking questions about Swordfish.

Doing quite well with our Gooligum tutorial on assembler and C thank you.

Doing some 'tire kicking' at these other languages. So what!

Certainly are a paranoid little bunch at some of these little forums.

'I want to be alone' Garbo.

Okay. So be it!

'Let it be written. Let it be done." Yul Brynner biblical movie.

See you around. Maybe.

swordfishuser/firewinguser/protonuser/PBCGuy/picmicrocontrolleruser/Palladin/Captain Freedom/Captain Invincible/PIC Jedi Apprentice/Champion is just wasting people's time.

There's a sign out in front of the Internet Zoo that reads:
Please Don't Feed the Trolls

Always good advice.

Hi Coccolisso

"project included TCP / IP, CAN and GLCD module"

CAN is for automobiles. I think. Don't know what a GLCD module is. TCP/ip is a protocol. I think.

"Using SF you realize that it is the most optimized"

Sounds like 'niche' programming.

I guess I thought Swordfish was just a middle of the road Basic.

More like hoping it was.

Always nice to talk to somebody sharp and find out what's happening over here in Swordfish land.
