If you choose the value of #option GLCD_TCR, you can reduce the flickering considerably - I have done it by trial and error on my displays as the calculation for it is quite complex. As for contrast, I haven't suceeded in getting very good contrast with these displays - I'd be interested to hear of any suggestions myself also for improving this.
