pickitminus (and PICKitPlus) - programming apps for PICKIT2/PICKIT3

For anyone using a PK2/PK3 as a programmer, there's an updated programming app that has support for many 18F devices that are not supported by the original standalone app, including many of the K and Q family devices. It includes a command-line utility (PK2CMD) that would allow it to be integrated into the SF IDE.

I should also mention the good folks at PICkitPlus https://pickitplus.co.uk/
They were the ones who did the original work on reviving the PK2/PK3.

Although it's not free, it's a minimal cost, and they provide 24/7 support.

I downloaded the Pickitminus app and has been using it for some weeks now with my trusty PicKit2, without problems. It works easy and quick! It does indeed the newer chips like the PIC18F27Q10 which I am using.

pickitminus was recently updated on 21 JAN 2023 to v3.20.17
It now includes support for 18FxxQ71 family
