Firewing for Swordfish

Post by David Barker » Fri Nov 14, 2014 1:38 pm

Firewing for PIC18, PIC24 and PIC32 is now available! Just to remind everyone, Firewing is a modular hardware and software development system based around a powerful Microchip controllers. The Firewing compiler is very closely related to Swordfish in terms of its language, but is completely free.

However, if you prefer to stick with Swordfish (and why not) then the Firewing for PIC18 board would make a great complimentary development system. The board is pin compatible with Arduino, so you can use all of those great shields available for Arduino - but use your favourite Swordfish language!

You can integrate the Firewing loader easily into the Swordfish IDE:

and here is a little module which enables you to easily access Firewing PWM and ADC pins:

The main board and Arduino compatible shields can be purchased from here:

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
