It works again!!!!! :lol: It was hardware related anyway :twisted: . Stupid me :S, i never checked the solder connections on the GLCD. Now i did and found that 2 Data ports where connected by a tiny piece of solder.... :roll: . It was under the plastic piece of male header that i used on the GLCD. I...

Hmm it wont work :? .

i`m out of options..

I tested alle the data ports with a led and they all worked.

How can i check if the GLCD is defective?

I`ve checkes all my connections, again :roll: ..
All seems good...

Is it a must to use pull down resistors?

In my previous design i did`nt use them.. And it worked..
That was with a 18f2550, now i`m useing a 18f452.

Hmm the first line of the H appears on the right side of the screen, strange...

Anyone?

Edit:

I used "TextAlign = taCenter" and when i disable it, it works!!!

i`m so happy now! :D.

Hi Bunny, the most likely thing from the info youve posted is that the bias voltage is not set correctly. The best thing to do is adjust the bias voltage untill you can just see pixels even if they are off? On the display that i'm using (rs part number 5327035 ) Vo is an input and if i rememcorrect...
