You could take a look at PicoITX really tieeny weeny form factor motherboards with CPU,GFX ect built in. You'd need a monitor to go on it , but are they SMALL

ASUS eee runs linux not windows
PALM runs PalmOS not windows
I'd say an El Chepo laptop would be your best bet

For eithernet you might want to look at the TiBo modules on crownhills site.
They are pretty nifty for that sort of thing.

Try lowering the caps to 15pf
And makesure the OSC is set to HS

Is this a quirk of the compiler or written in by design to avoid the read/write modify issue on some pics ?

Are you by any chance using a Texas Instruments LED driver , or a Maxim ?
