I am trying to get the software reset to work on my PIC 18f2580. I loaded the hex file for the bootloader and when i physically pull the MCLR pin to ground the chip resets and it programs but the software can't seem to do this. Has anybody used the CAN module library to send standard frames. I seem to be having an error where the last bit of the 10 bit identifier is always stuck at 0 and I can figure out why the library is causing this. Anybody come accross this error?
