Re: Invalid option
Hi Jerry, I got a box full of old devices. I am just using what I have. Thanks for the info about the order of includes and such. The backpack is obsolete and there isn't any info on the web. That's why I figured I would just wright my own firmware. It is turning out to be harder than I thought. All...

Re: Invalid option
HI Jerry, I switched to the 18F2321. I decided to develop for the pic that is on the SGLCD backpack. I commented the code 'Include "intosc.bas" '#option DIGITALIO_INIT = true // automatically call SetAllDigital at startup 'Include "setdigitalio.bas" and checked syntax and all is ok. Is the above cod...

Re: Blink PortB on a 18F2620
HI Jerry,
I was thinking on just a Basic GLCD serial interface. I looked on SparkFun and found one they sell and found a datasheet of commands. I was was going to doing something that. I plan on having 2 different fonts big numbers and smaller letters. Thanks for the help with this.

Blink PortB on a 18F2620
Hello all, I am trying to just blink a led to get a feel for this device. I can't seem to do that. Here is the code I have. I am using internal OSC at 8 mhz and testing on a easypic7 dev board. It works in Pic18 SIM IDE , but does not on hardware. Looking at the datasheet there is no OSCCON, just OS...

Unkown analog select map
Hello Everyone,
ITs good to be back here. I am using a 18F452 and I get this warning and I think it has something to do with the pic I'm using.
If I change it to a 18F4520 then the warning goes away. I am playing around with the GLCD module. any ideas?
