RS485 components
Dear all,
I am trying to create a wireless RS-485 communication module between my PIC and a remote component. I understand that I need a pair of RS-485 transceiver. Does anyone here use this? Any recommendation on the RS-485 transceiver chips?

Liak

Continuous screen capture from an active window
Dear all, I know this is a bit out of the topic of the forum. But I still want to try out the help from our members here. I had searched almost everywhere on this topic but couldn't get a good result. I am working on an interface software in VB between a desktop and a PIC system. I need to capture t...

I have to make a living, and it's not through Proton. How is it that no one can make a living from selling PIC compilers? The market must be so much smaller than I thought. Yes! - Captain Spock - : I am now member of an endangered species! More proudly, we are members of superior lifeforms! :...

Dear all, I have been following this thread. Though I haven't encounter the problem, likely because my projects are not so huge. So what I conclude is that: 1. this is a compiler bug 2. support is not available on this issue. Am I right? If so, then this will definitely limit the credibility of SF. ...

Comparing ARM, Cortex3 and PIC
Dear all, I have been all this while working with Microchip PIC, nearly all in 18Fs. But now we are considering to move to 32bits platform. Some people suggested why not move to ARM based 32 bits system. I know it is not of relevance to this forum. But all this while with familiarity with Microchip'...
