IDE Bug.

Post by Senacharim » Thu Jan 27, 2011 7:05 pm

Hi!
so, there are two very hand function key shortcuts
F9 - compile
F10 - compile & program

I especially appreciate these function keys. (and F12! heart that one...)

Also, if one presses both F9 and F10 at the same time, the 'compiling' message kind-of double pops-up and the "Compiling, please wait..." message on the bottom appears and stays; never going away. The IDE become unresponsive (normal when compiling), compiling never reaches the 'done' mark, and a force-close via the task manager is eventually required if one wishes to do any further coding via Swordfish.

I realize in no normal operation should one be pressing both of these keys simultaneously for any reason--my finger slipped. And then I verified my accidental observation two additional times getting exactly the same results. And so, here is a post about it.

I'd be glad to answer any specific questions to aid in troubleshooting, if necessary. Though I suspect such aid will not be required.
